Reservation Policies, Rain Checks, Refunds & Returns (and other Fine Print)
On-line Reservations/Cancellations: All seats purchased on-line require a credit card. You may cancel up 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure. A credit will be issued on your card. Cancellations must be made by telephone- 706-823-0440, ext 4 or 7 or by email at canaltix@augustacanal.com.
Telephone Reservations: You may book reservations by telephoning the ticket desk, 706-823-0440 x 4. Friday Music Cruises and Saturday 3-hour Sunset Cruises, charters and facility rentals are held with a credit card at time of booking. One-hour tours do not require a credit card hold.
Reservation Cancellations: Reservations must be canceled 48 hours in advance for a full refund. If possible, management will issue refunds for later cancellations, but this is not guaranteed.
Private Charter/Rental Deposit Policy: All private charters and rentals require deposit of 50% payment 30 days prior to scheduled date. If deposit is not received 30 days in advance, date will be released. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event. Refunds may not be issued if event is canceled within the 30 days of event date.
Rainchecks: If inclement weather or any other issues cause a tour to be canceled, a raincheck or a refund will be issued.
Merchandise Returns: Merchandise purchased at the Canal Gift Shop or Canal On-line Gift shop can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Receipt required. Customer is responsible for return shipping to Augusta Canal Gift Shop. 1450 Greene Street, Suite 400, Augusta GA 30901.
