Reminder: Canal Fall 2010 Clean-up Day is October 23
ACT - Adopt A Canal Trail
ACT Adopt-a-Canal-Trail provides opportunities for volunteers to assist the Canal staff by monitoring, maintaining and enhancing the canal waterway and trails. Groups or individuals can adopt a section or section of land and/or water trail. Adopters agree to visit their section at least 4 times a year for litter and debris pick-up, light pruning, inspection and the like. An official Adopt-a-Canal-Trail sign will acknowledge your group's commitment to keeping the Canal clean and safe. Reach the ACT coordinator at 706-823-0440 extension 8, email to adoptatrail@augustacanal.com
